I like all sorts of music, but most modern music is shit.

Are Bohos the MOBO's for Hobo's?

Re: Glastonbury...
If it's alright with the WHO "Bohos" I like it and there is some fucking good music in the genre esp from Hospital Records who use a lot of influences and sounds from other genres so it's more musical than your average D&B.

Would LOVE to know what oMM and branded listen to?

Re: Glastonbury...
I quite like the Chemical Brothers but there's something a little sad about one of them looking like Ron Howard playing a keyboard.

DnB has been around for nigh-on 25 years.

good luck trying to find someone who was going to Hysteria and Slammin Vinyl nights as an actual baby.

Re: Glastonbury...
Yes , over 30 and you should listen to something appropriate, like the Glen Miller's Orchestra, or perhaps if you're feeling a little racey, some vintage Brass Marching Band music, what?

Re: Glastonbury...
D&B for anyone over 25 is a stretch?

D&B for anyone over 30?

I always thought D&B was for mildly intelligent sixth formers who thought they had some black genes and knew the skunk dealer?

Pancho 4:44 Tue Jun 30
Re: Glastonbury...
You know what, 5 years ago I would have totally agreed with you.

But there is some quality tracks in there among the shit.

D&B - There isn't a wanker sign big enough to cover this...

Pancho 4:39 Tue Jun 30
Re: Glastonbury...
To be fair it was full of Hoxton fella's in black rim glasses.

My mates been going to gigs like that since like 92 and said it was shit.

May of chose the wrong night.

Re: Glastonbury...
You need something to keep you going esp for the all nighters. Been to a few of their events I am poss the oldest person there these days but still love jumping around to D&B.

Pancho 4:33 Tue Jun 30
Re: Glastonbury...
I'll be really honest I love a bit of D&B but fuck seeing it live. It would honestly bore me after a bit.

I did Netsky at Brixton a few years back. Meh. Was good but after a while.

Are you going to the Hospital Bank holiday do Panch?

Re: Glastonbury...
I made an album years ago with one track being a 15 min acid house remix of Green Onions, is that 'obscure'?

Pancho 4:23 Tue Jun 30
Re: Glastonbury...
13 - not trying to mug you off simply had the feeling this "obscure" stuff I would have heard of.

Caribou and Hospital Records stuff I've been into for years.

Massive fan of Danny Byrd and & High Contrast.

Re: Glastonbury...
I never said my tastes were "obscure" that was your word Pancho. Must try harder.

I'd prefer Snarky Puppy to headline.

If you say so.

Pancho 4:18 Tue Jun 30
Re: Glastonbury...
Just as I thought 13 - stuff I've heard of.

And before they appeared at Glastonbury.
